Proclamation: National Vietnam War Veterans Day

On March 28, Mayor Whitlow proclaimed March 29 to be Vietnam War Veterans Day in Mead. This day provides the opportunity to recognize, honor and thank our Vietnam Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifices during the Vietnam War from November 1, 1955, thru May 15, 1975. We value their service and sacrifice, and their courage and commitment to our nation. We will continue to honor those who served in the Vietnam War as The Wall That Heals comes to Mead on August 18-21, 2022.
